When I was a young kid, my father gave me a set of 3 Koinobori that he brought back from Japan a long time ago. I like to make funny drawings with animals (mostly tapirs!).

Pandir is a character I created. Part panda, part tapir, with some raccoon ancestry… and many things else.

I love tapirs… so why not « tapirify » other animals? A black and white pattern, sometimes a short trunk, and here they are!

I love to make drawings of animals in black and white, in a naturalistic/minimalistic style.
